2. What will you work on if you were accepted to the fellowship?

Intro: LooCafes are innovative public toilet models, with toilets at the back attached to a point-of-sale while housed inside a shipping container. LooCafe’s currently the only public utility model in its domain of solving WASH challenges that works—because it's sustainable. While we primarily build public toilets (that are free to use) we're a Water, Sanitation & Hygiene focused Organization (WASH), we work on various projects that are based around circular economy & our models & build communities on our fields of work through the process.

Focus:

a) Grow LooCafe Expand the number of tech integrated LooCafes across the world in an accelerated manner with further global partnership collaboration & a system for LooCafe assembly that can be replicated - build 100 units in a single year.

b) Build the reinvented LooCafe while scaling down the costs of the reinvited toilet + further innovation for water efficiency projects that are in the pipeline.

• The Reinvented Toilet: We aim to make this "air conditioner for toilets" more affordable. This zero-discharge model transforms waste into ash and water, holding immense potential for sustainable sanitation. The fellowship will support collaborative efforts to significantly reduce its cost.
• LooCafe Evolution: We'll develop new LooCafe structures using 3D molding or metal fabrication, integrated with water-loop systems for maximum efficiency.
• The Ultimate Public Toilet: Building upon our existing innovations (LooCafe and LooCafe Mini), we'll design a model that surpasses current public sanitation solutions. This will address the needs of underserved populations and provide replacements for defunct facilities, with a strong emphasis on affordability and scalability.
