Think of storyboarding as an effective method of planning. Use it to plan 2 key components:
1. The flow: Your flow is the order that you present the content. Everything you create is a story in some form - it has a beginning, middle, and end. How you order things and tell that story is important.
2. The information you want to include: As you storyboard, you'll notice areas you may want to do more research on to include in your content. Creating content doesn't always happen after you have the information, you can do them in tandem.
When producers are making a movie, they don't start filming right away. That would be crazy, right? Instead, they make a storyboard, get feedback on it, iterate, and then start filming. Creating content is like making a movie, and as the producer, it's important you create a storyboard for your content before you start.
